For my trip to Uganda, I was craving peaceful, nature-filled escapes away from the usual hustle and bustle of city life 🌿✨
My first stop was Entebbe - because that's where the international airport is. I’ll admit, I had originally overlooked it for Kampala, but I quickly discovered that unlike Kampala, Entebbe sits right on the shores of Lake Victoria.
That’s when I started looking for lakeside stays and stumbled upon Entebbe Forest Lodge.
Tucked between lush greenery and the water’s edge, it turned out to be the perfect hideaway near Lake Victoria. Calm, cosy, and beautifully serene. 💚

This hidden gem in Uganda 🇺🇬 sits on a private island surrounded by powerful rapids and breathtaking views. It's one of the most unique stays in Africa 🌍 - a true bucket list experience!
From waking up to sunrise over the Nile, to falling asleep with the sound of rushing water, this lodge was pure magic ✨️
I stayed here for 2 nights and it was wonderful - one of the highlights of my time in Uganda!

✨ September in snapshots ✨
A month of travel and adventure, and the little everyday joys that mean the most. But also a month where the weight of loss was impossible to ignore.
Hopeful for brighter days ahead and a happier October 🌤🌻🍂
Day 2 and 3 of my time in Entebbe and Kampala 🇺🇬 was as soft as fresh Agege bread! 🍞 (I hope it's still fresh 🥹)
Anyway, I spent most of the morning at Entebbe Forest Lodge - I didn’t want to leave! But then I showed up at my work mama's house - which was stocked with lots of Nigerian food and snacks and I was in paradise again!
Day 3 was for sleep and when it started raining, it was obvious the universe aligned with that idea! When the rain stopped, I explored a traffic-free Kampala and had the best time!
So glad this visit was enjoyable and stress-free and I hope my next one will be just as relaxing too!
I would say steal my itinerary but I didn’t do anything! 😂 Maybe that's what you should as well!
