Another collection of some of my favourite places in the world 🌎
🐘 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐋𝐨𝐝𝐠𝐞, 𝐓𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐚-𝐓𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐭𝐚: absolutely stunning property, excellent service, no single supplement (when I went), delightful safaris! I love this place so much and can't wait to return!
🌸 𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐲𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧, 𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐧: I wanted a hanok stay during my trip to Korea and this place delivered! Modern, but with all the characteristics of a traditional hanok? Yes, please!
🐘 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐢 𝐎𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐝, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐢: Rustic accommodation in the mountains of Chiang Mai. Elephants, riverside fun, friendly people, good food! Thailand is amazing and this is one reason why!
🦍 𝐋𝐚 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚, 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐞: a relaxing and cosy gateway to Volcanooes National Park.
🌻 𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐢 𝐋𝐨𝐝𝐠𝐞, 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐢 (𝐋𝐨𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐤): a charming lodge situated just outside Amboseli National Park, busy waterholes, and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro
🐴 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐲𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛, 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐮𝐤𝐢: Luxury accommodation at the foot of Mount Kenya. Beautiful grounds and excellent views of Mount Kenya.
🐆 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐢 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩: Rustic self-catering accommodation close to Amboseli National Park. Excellent wildlife viewing right on the property! We tracked cheetahs on foot with a Masaai guide and it was the most exhilarating experience!

This js Namibia’s best kept secret and it comes with giraffes 🦒
Voigtland Guesthouse is one of those places that feels unreal until you’re actually there. Giraffes wandering up as you enjoy breakfast ☕ quiet gardens 🌿 beautiful rooms 🛏️ and some of the warmest hospitality in Namibia.
It’s the perfect base to start or end a Namibia trip 🚗 and it costs far less than similar stays around the world. If you want comfort, calm, and a little bit of magic ✨ this is the spot.

This first video features three places that completely stole my heart:
🦒 Voigtland Guesthouse in Namibia
🐒 Entebbe Forest Lodge in Uganda
🌤 Lemala Wildwaters in Uganda
Each one gave me something different, from wildlife moments to peaceful forest mornings to the most dramatic river views. This is the start of a new series where I share my favorite stays around the world and I already have more lined up.
Tell me which one you are adding to your list.
Tired of the usual tourist spots? You have to check out Suwon, South Korea, home to the incredible Hwaseong Fortress (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) - and you have to stay the night! 🌙
Getting here is super easy - just hop on the subway from Seoul, and in about an hour, you're stepping back into history. There are also super comfortable buses (which I used during my stay)
Some of my favourite memories here include:
⛅️ Walking the Suwon Fortress Wall (the views are pretty wonderful, especially at sunset)
☕️ Finding the best cafes in the city
📚 Visiting the Starfield Library
👣 Just walking around the city
Suwon is the perfect blend of historical charm and modern Korean city life, and it's easily one of the best day (or overnight) trips from Seoul.
Which stop would you hit first: the ancient fortress or the famous BBQ? Let me know in the comments! 👇
