  1. Hi Amarachi!
    I am Linda
Your write up is quite impressive. You are amazing.

  2. Hi, My name is Millicent Hilary,

Seeing your blog right now is an amazing thing for me, like I have struggled for years to get on my feet when it comes to travelling and actually writing about it. but that is a gist for another day, Please can we talk via email or on phone as I will like to either partner with you on a project or get your guidance and advise towards it.

    my number is [redacted]

    1. Hi Millicent, thanks for your comment.
Please use the ‘Contact Me’ page to email me or you can send an email directly to [email protected] and I’ll be happy to respond to any specific questions you might have.

  3. I have been following your blog early last year January, but I am low key reader, so this year I decided kick my travel plans, firstly I want to appreciate you for responding to me on Instagram with handle @_eddybaba I never expected the reply but boom I saw it. So this year my first trip is Togo, Rwanda & Ethiopia. Amarachi God bless you. I want to be fact of your travel term. My dream coming through

    1. Thank you, Emmanuel. It’s great to connect with you. I also plan and hope to visit Rwanda this year. We’ll see how that goes. 🙂

  4. I love your blog! I learned so much. Thank you for the information ❤️

  5. So lovely reading your story, and you’ve been to quite a few places and done things which are still just distant future items on my bucket list. Local travel is very rewarding so I’m glad you write about your local adventures too. I think too many travel bloggers get caught up with only showcasing far distant lands when tourists are visiting and appreciating the country which is right under their noses. It’s nice learning more about Nigeria through you. Take care, and visit Jamaica soon if you can! 🙂

    1. Thanks, Rochelle. I agree with more travellers and bloggers showcasing their home countries. I hope I can visit Jamaica soon. Definitely going to explore beyond the resorts 🙂

  6. Hi Amarachi, you’re doing a good job, thanks for your write up, very interesting God bless.

  7. I love your blog, would love to explore West Africa for a start. How do I begin?

    1. Hi Vivian, Benin is a great start and introduction to WA. You can work your way up to Ghana and IVC. That would be an adventure!

  8. What a nice blog I’d just discovered. I’m so impressed and inspired by this blog. Looking forth to my own adventure.

    1. It’s great to have you here, Grace. Thanks for all your comments! I’m looking forward to hearing about adventures soon as well, starting with Ghana.

  9. Hello Amarachi, really nice to know how much you have traveled as a Nigeria, and your detailed explanation of your experiences. Thumbs up

I love to hear from you, Leave a comment here!

Mount Kilimanjaro and giraffes - I could cry! 🥹

If you're looking for a great weekend trip from Nairobi to change the pace, Amboseli National Park is truly one of the best places to visit!

For a road trip that's only about 4-5 hours from Nairobi, you get epic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, large elephant herds and if you pick the right lodge, you can watch incredible wildlife come and go, right from the comfort of your dining table or even your room!

Oh please, add Gyeongju to your South Korean itinerary! 🇰🇷

It's a charming, beautiful and walkable city that I think is worth visiting.

When I visited the country for the first time, I picked Jeonju over Gyeongju. Not much thought went into that decision. I just did it - no regrets.

Luckily I got to revisit and what a joy! It's magical in every way! ✨️

Natural, Unfiltered Beauty! 🌸💙

The cherry blossoms were late but that itself was a blessing. I was happy to get clear, gorgeous views of Mount Fuji!

Oh, this trip - this country! Some places leave a permanent mark. This was one of them!

Oh, this charming town! 💙

Beautiful cobbled-stone streets, a gorgeous trail that leads to yet another beautiful well-preserved Edo-period post town, temples and shrines... this is Magome-Juku

If you plan to visit, I recommend staying a night or two. Accommodation is quite limited and everything shuts down by 5pm.

We stayed at Magomechaya for 2 nights. This place has both hostels and private rooms and our stay was absolutely wonderful. I'd definitely revisit!
